The sparkling wine that lives at the bottom of the lake
3 months have passed since Apis & Co Studio started working on the documentary that will tell the story of environmentally responsible producers and products.
Our interest is to show the innovations and dedicated work of small producers who guarantee the best quality in their organic products and therefore protect the environment and the health of their communities.
Already from the first producers with whom we started working in Switzerland, we received a great love story for bees and organic products as a gift. The Azienda Agricola Bianchi has presented us with rich stories about its products and the Bio Suisse brand, a quality brand that their honeys and wines carry, and they are the only products in this sector to have obtained this certification here in Ticino.
In addition to the high quality, the affection with which the Bianchi family cultivates and produces also generates innovations and authenticity in their products. Today this text is dedicated to one of these incredible innovations, the rosé sparkling wine Marà del Lago. On October 19, 2019, Apis & Co Studio documented a special mission on Lake Lugano, where a team of divers, a winemaker, a vine grower specialist and other documentary makers have restored a container full of treasures left on the bottom of the lake for one year, about 30 meters deep. It was the Marà del Lago, a sparkling wine produced by the Bianchi company and aged in a unique way in the depths of the lake, placed in a structure created exclusively to guarantee a natural and constant movement, in addition to an ideal temperature, which translates into an exclusive sparkling wine suitable for special occasions, to be drunk on its own or in combination with classic lake fish recipes or more refined dishes of high gastronomy.
These are the advantages of our work in participating in a beautiful story and in documenting something so unique.
