The kitchen is undoubtedly a magical universe and every single thing that is part of this universe is delightful to those who one day come across it.

When entering a professional kitchen for the first time I think we have the feeling of being in a factory, where everything seems mechanical and lifeless. But with a closer look and some dedicated time, you realize the magical world of this place. The coldness of the metal, which usually constitutes a large part of the kitchen, is a surface where a chef adapts perfectly, staging his tools and his secret lust for creation with hundreds of ingredients, each with its own aroma, colour, texture and taste. Knowing that outside of his laboratory there’s an enthusiast, waiting to be amazed by his alchemy, and so this is the happiness of a chef who creates the dish with all the love he cares for gastronomy. Well this is the basis of all the passion… After having studied and cooked for some years with chefs and incredible cooks, who left me as a legacy, the passion for food and all that concerns it, Cookery Photo, my first studio, was born.

When I was studying culinary and working as a cook, I was already a photographer and could never leave my first love, but it was also difficult to leave the cooking as a profession and the magic of cooking. Then I traveled in search for more knowledge to Milan, Italy, where I did a specialization in Food Photography and learned how to shoot the beloved food with perfection, I could combine my two loves. After an year of study and another two years as an event and food photographer in Switzerland and Italy, I returned to Brazil and founded Cookery Photo in 2011 on the island of Florianopolis, although the idea was born in Switzerland, in city of Lugano, where I had lived before and where I have now returned. Cookery Photo is 8 years old and is no longer just a culinary photography agency but a complete design agency that manages branding projects for gastronomy, all based and inspired by culinary photography. For each dish, each composition is made with a prior thought, where the knowledge previously acquired on the kitchen is applied, meticulously in every detail for each new project, attentive to every detail and history of each of our customers, we create unbeatable brands and photos that speak the truth for every good food lover.
